Alberta Football League 2015 Award Winners

During September the Alberta Football League asked each Team Executive Representative to vote for their choice for the 2015 AFL Awards.  The votes have been counted and the Alberta Football League is proud to announce the league award winners for the 2015 season.

Huge congrats to the league winning Calgary Gators sweeping all seven player categories including Jordan Heather taking home AFL MVP  Offense MVP and Outstanding Rookie, while Major Newman captured Defensive MVP and Outstanding Player Special Teams.

Two new categories have been added this season, congratulations to

AFL Outstanding Coach: Dave Spence of the Fort McMurray Monarchs

And

AFL Franchise of the Year: Central Alberta Buccaneers
