The Calgary Gators get back into action for a Semi Final playoff matchup on Saturday August 29th at 7pm, Shouldice Athletic Park in Calgary.

They will take on the St Albert Stars who are coming off of a 67-0 quarterfinal win over the Grande Prairie Drillers. The Gators received a first round by and take on a Stars team they handled 53-0 in the regular season. The Gators expect the Stars to come out aggressive with nothing to lose and won’t expect the Stars to lay down because of a lopsided regular season game.

If the Gators manage to come out on top they will host the winner of the Bucs/Monarchs game on September 12th for the AFL title. Waiting out east are the 2015 NFC champs GTA Allstars, who will host the winner of the AFL for the CMFL national championship. The Gators know they have the talent and ability to win the AFL and get a chance at their first national title. But they also know much work is to be done to hoist that trophy at the end of September. Come out Saturday and cheer on the Gators on their road through the playoffs.
